Been waiting a long time for the SSD5 update and I'm excited for the release. , please post any updates that you 'safely' can on the beta testing. The tuning was fortunate for me because it is a lot like how I tune my own acoustic kit,medium tight snares ,punchy kicks and medium to low tuned toms. Very natural high quality sound with a big room. I heard some 1 shot samples and they sound amazing. They spent 2 weeks just recording hi hats! The engineer wanted to see if he could improve on everything that has been done with VST hi hats. One thing I know right now is that this has 3 times the velocity layers that SSD4 has. This will be highly optimized for edrums and I am putting my Toontrack expansions up for sale if anyone wants them. I am going to be beta testing next week and will let everyone know anything they will allow.
